Chris Montasser
Principal
A graduate of Texas Tech University’s Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering, Chris started his career as a Civil Engineer, specializing in civil land development as a design engineer. He later transitioned to the construction industry, where he applied his experience to manage the design process for design/build projects and the estimating department during the bidding phase. His success allowed up to quickly rise to Senior Vice President and a member of the executive team, where he grew and managed the Pre-Construction Services department for a $50MM+ design/build general contractor.
Drawing upon a decade of experience, he founded Huntersera Consulting, a construction management company, specializing in aviation-related construction, industrial, retail, and medical office space. Under his guidance, the Huntersera Team has established a reputation for providing exceptional value and service to its clients, with a focus on on-time project-completion and superior value.
Matt McCombs
Principal
Matt McCombs is a seasoned executive with over 13 years of experience in city management roles across North Texas, followed by a successful transition to real estate development and investment. His background in municipal budgeting, procurement, and contract administration, coupled with his expertise in leading development planning and capital infrastructure, enables him to quickly identify and navigate complex challenges that involve a diverse range of stakeholders.
As a trusted advisor, Matt has built an expansive network among local jurisdictions in North Texas, allowing him to effectively mediate disputes and find win-win solutions that benefit all parties. At Huntersera, Matt leverages his public management background to proactively anticipate and address entitlement issues before they become a problem. He is also skilled at developing realistic development and incentive agreements that align the interests of both cities and development entities.
Matt's extensive experience includes platting/replatting, zoning/rezoning, development agreement negotiation, and incentive negotiation. His ability to think strategically and build consensus has made him a valuable asset to any development team.
Joe Haynor
Sr. Construction Manager
As Senior Construction Manager at Huntersera Consulting, LLC, Joe leads the way in ensuring safety, quality, coordination, and the overall health of the company's projects. With over 18 years of experience in the construction industry, Joe's passion for the construction process has led him on a unique path from Laborer to Senior Management. This breadth of experience gives him a crucial understanding of construction practices, procedures, and controls, making him an asset to any project.
Joe has successfully overseen a diverse range of projects in terms of scope, cost, and industry. From multimillion-dollar airport facilities to ground-up QSR projects and municipal projects, Joe has consistently met every challenge with his experience and determination, focusing on three goals: completing projects within budget, on time, and delivering the quality that clients expect.
